as title, i'm chasing a canoe, they are pretty obscure to find 2nd hand so i thought i'd ask in here??
needs to be fairly light, fibre or plastic, 2 person and prefer the mould seat type, something like this:


keen to hear if anyone knows anything, have max $300 to spend on it.
don't mind a small bit of work to get it ready.

Have you tried Terry at Canoes Downunder in Bassendean? They do second hand as well as new stuff.
(I got my Dagger ocean touring kayak from him second hand)

didn't know they did second hand, have been to the shop in myaree, scoured the quokka/ebay/gumtree/papers, all types of forums for monthes.
will give em a call now.

edit* they have one, it's a bit rich, but not having much luck, hopefully they still have it when i can get down there.

No probs...I am usually wary of posting 'recommendations' but when I was looking Terry was really helpful and a great guy to deal with (his wife works in the shop too...nice lady) Ended up buying my ex's kayak there too (new)....and all subsequent paddles, accessories, etc.
Not the cheapest, but certainly a very knowledgeable and helpful guy.
PS...if you know anyone looking for a 14' Dagger ocean tourer....lol

the prices ppl are getting for boats in this area is bordering ridiculous.
there are a few forums ie: yak fishing/canoe message boards you could post it on, they all seem to be asking highish prices.
